From their bases in Baileyville, Eastport, and Lubec, Downeast EMS covers a large area of Washington County. In addition to emergency response, they provide facility-to-facility transfer service. They are also available to attend community events in the numerous member towns where they can provide ambulance tours, as well as blood pressure and blood glucose testing.

Downeast EMS provides emergency medical care and hospital transfer care at the EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic levels. Downeast EMS is dedicated to compassionate, high quality patient care and are strong advocates for their patients.
